About Me

Hi and thank you for being here! I’m so excited to be a little piece of your life for however long you’re here. I’m excited to provide you with quick lists and ideas to add to your travel plans or to make your everyday life more exciting and new.

My name is Meredith Copeland and I’m from Nashville, Tennessee. After losing my dad when I was 19, I packed my bags a week later and went on my first international trip for a month. I discovered my love for exploring the beautiful world and that it was outside of my comfort zone that I found true perspective and joy.

Here you will find itineraries and things to do from all the places I’ve had the pleasure to visit. I will never try to convince you that I’m the one-and-only guide you should follow. My lists and my itineraries are simply to give you new ideas. When I look up things to do when I visit a place, I always pick and choose from different websites, pictures, etc. Everyone is different – so create a trip that fits YOU.

If you happen to like 1, 5, or everything on the lists I have created – that’s great. Know how you like to see the world and what you are looking for on your trip. Even when I’ve visited a destination, I never get to see everything I want to see, so my lists are a small fraction of what’s available to you. I love the idea of my blog being just one stop on your journey to plan the perfect trip for you. You can just scroll and look at pictures, or stick around and read about the details – whatever works best for you.

Why I Call It All New Days:

In 2021, I embarked on an adventure to experience “All New Days.” I was on a mission to make every day an all new day. I tried out new hobbies, new places, new food, and even just learned about new mindsets. Every day is different. Every day is a new day to either live more fully or continue in your comfort zone.

So, for 234 consecutive days, I did something new each and every day until…

You never know where life will take you. My life took a turn towards the end of 2021, and it made living every day intentionally nearly impossible. With significant health problems that led to financial problems, it made it difficult to pursue new adventures and experiences. I was frustrated I couldn’t make it to 365 days, but I had to remind myself I accomplished what I set out to do. I had lived more in those 234 days than I had in a long time.

This is why it’s so important to take hold of the life you have now and make the most of it every chance you can. Find joy in the small moments and celebrate life every day.

“All New Days” was my chance to become a “yes” person. It’s easy for me to get stuck in the comfort of home and familiarity. While a lot of people need to learn to say “no” to things, I needed to say “yes” more. I needed to force myself to get out of my head and into the world. I am still claiming to be perfect at this by any means. But, because of that year, I became a more open person with a lot of new knowledge and skills and memories I can keep forever.

What to Expect on Here:

Traveling is a big part of my story and my life. It’s in experiencing new parts of the world, new cultures, new beauty that I was forced to face my discomfort both physically and emotionally. While you’re here, check out my travel guides, travel lists, and experiences around the world. I love to plan the perfect trip, packed with experiences to make the most of every second. I love to find joy in each moment.

And like I mentioned, I don’t hesitate to talk about grief and how you can be a good friend or support through that. Travel was a massive part of my journey with grief and I never want the discussion around grief to be taboo or scary. While I experience the world or travel around the world, it’s a time for reflection and it’s important to be present and allow yourself to feel things.

Travel and grief are uncomfortable – but facing that discomfort is how we discover ourselves. Please feel free to read and connect on here or by email. Life is so much better when you know you’re not the only one.

Stay as long as you’d like,

-Meredith
