25+ Unique and Classic Things to DO in Nashville
If you’ve ever lived or been to Nashville, you know it can be difficult to find things to DO. There is plenty to eat and beyond plenty to drink. But, when it comes to activities or experiences, it can feel like there is a lack. I’m here to say, yes, I understand.
I’ve lived here essentially my whole life and even I struggle to find stuff to actually DO. Most nights end with just dinner or drinks, but I have had some truly fun experiences around Nashville, especially in the last year.
Yes, a lot of these are also places to eat and drink also, but none of these are centered around those things. So, whether you’ve done everything on this list or have never heard of any, just make sure to check out something that sounds right for you. It’s good to get to have different experiences or just get inspiration on things to do anywhere you go.
1. Ranch Hands Cowboylesque
Starting off strong, we have Ranch Hands Cowboylesque. This show is SO much fun for visitors and locals alike. As a local, it just seemed like a fun show to go to on a Friday night. MAKE SURE YOU GET RESERVATIONS WELL AHEAD OF TIME!
We had a group of 4, and we had to reserve seats separate from each other – thankfully, the coordinators were so kind and made sure we still got to sit together! We sat in the back and it was bar seating, but all of the tables in the middle are normal tables and can be pushed together for groups.
The bachelorette parties went wild here. It was a pretty early show, so it is a great first stop when planning your night out on Friday, OR you can go for brunch on Saturday. It is located in the Opryland area, across from the hotel and mall at the Nashville Palace. You get a nice dose of country music, shirtless cowboys, and strong drinks. Find more information here: Ranch Hands Cowboylesque.
2. The Catio
These first 3 things to do are all in a similar area in the Donelson/Opry Mills area of Nashville. The Catio is also located in the strip mall across from Opryland. There are lots of fun, southern bars in this area but we are here to talk about things to DO. That brings us to the Catio – a place for you to play with cats and kittens. The Catio is a lounge for the cats and kittens while they await adoption. So yes, these cats are up for adoption!
But, for a small price of $12, you can spend an hour just hanging out with the cats. Make sure to book your time on their website, and while you are here you can check out the kitties available for adoption: The Catio Nashville.
I always had cats growing up, but I think I’ve developed a sort of fear. While this was really fun, I realized I am slightly scared of cats now. It was still fun to see all the fun obstacle courses for the cats, their toys, and their hiding places. Once you are in, the cats have free range around the room and so do you. You can play with your favorites or you can sit and pet the calm, sleeping ones. This is also a great way to spend time with the cats and maybe find one you bond with to adopt!
3. Two Rivers Greenway/Shelby Park
I feel like most Nashvillians don’t know about this greenway – at least the people I know who are locals. But, this is definitely a great neighborhood greenway. It actually starts at the same parking lot as the Wave Country, and the parking lot is also home to a decent-sized skate park. You’ll see kids/adults there pretty much all the time. This greenway can go either way, but I definitely recommend going the direction down under the bridge with the fun murals.
After you emerge out the other side, you will go over a bridge that crosses the Cumberland River, and it is very picturesque. This takes you to the other side of the river, and you will go down a spiral walkway until you get to the path that goes alongside the river. This takes you in both directions, and if you go to the right it eventually takes you to Shelby Park (pretty famous in East Nashville), although that is quite a walk. You can also rent bikes at the Two Rivers Greenway parking lot!
Speaking of Shelby Park, this is also a great park to go on a walk, have a picnic, go roller skating, or lots of other activities. I went here growing up all the time, but more recently I have gone on walks around the pond there, and they also have an air park that has a flat surface perfect for bringing your roller skates or just hanging out. Definitely recommend getting outside if you’re visiting or checking out a new greenway/park if you live here!
4. Farmer’s Markets (all around Nashville)
You can never go wrong finding a good farmer’s market to go to. Almost every little town around Nashville has one. The most notable one is the Nashville Farmer’s Market, which is a year-round farmer’s market located in the Germantown area. It is open daily, except for some holidays, and it is held in a large building with lots of windows next to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
It has stalls outdoors with plenty of local vegetables and goods are sold. There is also a large plant garden outside that has various options and things you might need. Inside the building, there are lots of local shops and restaurants, so you can wander around, grab food, and buy some local souvenirs or other items. I will say that it’s better to go on the weekend, as there will be a lot more vendors out.
You can also check around town for local farmer’s markets in the neighborhoods. The Hip Donelson Farmer’s Market is located at the Two Rivers Mansion and is on Fridays throughout the summer. They always have food trucks and local vendors selling all kinds of food and products. It is so fun to walk around, eat, and spend time with friends or family.
They are all around town, including the Madison Farmer’s Market, 12 South Farmer’s Market, or East Nashville Farmer’s Market. Just check out the days and times to find one that works for you!
5. NMAAM – National Museum of African American Music
So, I still need to go here, but I plan to go soon! I tend to avoid downtown because of parking and traffic, but this is an extremely well-done museum that is both modern and historical. This museum is interactive and fun, and it is pretty new. They also have free admission on Wednesdays! So if you are looking to go, you can always reserve a ticket on a Wednesday morning. This will be your best bet for free admission and low crowds.
On the other days, admission is only $24.95. Just make sure to reserve your ticket and check the other events happening around Nashville. NMAAM sometimes has events, but since this is located downtown, it’s good to know what is going on to plan for traffic and parking.
Since it is downtown, you could also plan to go to Fifth and Broadway after to get food or drinks. Fifth and Broadway has tons of local restaurants and stores, so it’s a good way to see both if you are visiting or if you want to make a day out of your visit to NMAAM. For more information or to book your tickets, click here: National Museum of African American Music.
6. Hatch Show Print
Located in the Country Music Hall of Fame building, this is a pretty unique experience for both locals and visitors. It has a gift shop, gallery, and print shop, and you can get some really unique souvenirs or local art from here.
You can simply go to the gift shop and check out the prints and gifts there. But, you can also do a tour of the print shop where you can actually make your own custom print. You can also learn and see how the entire print shop system works! Hatch Show Print has a long history of providing custom and hand-made prints for musicians and events for a century and a half.
Their website provides great insight into their history and the work they continue to do. It is definitely worth checking out, and you can also book a tour here: Hatch Show Print.
7. Love Circle
While this may have been more of a “secret” spot while I was in high school, Love Circle has definitely gown in popularity. This not-so-secret hill has views of downtown Nashville, and it is one of the best spots for sunrise or sunset. Grab some friends, a blanket or chairs, and a nice picnic, and spend time taking in the beauty of Nashville.
It is located almost within a neighborhood, so it is extremely important to respect the area by keeping the noise down and leave no trace! Always pick up any trash or items you might have. It is located off West End, and you will drive up to a circle that goes around the hill. You can park around this hill wherever you can find a spot, but try not to be in the way of cars. From there, you can make the trek up the hill and find a good spot.
This has been home to some great memories with friends, and it is a unique little spot to spend time with loved ones.
8. Night Light 615
Night Light 615 is a seasonal adult-only movie night at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. It is an outdoor movie series that begins in mid-summer until close to Halloween. These events can sell out quickly! So make sure if you are trying to go that you get tickets in advance.
It is 21+, and they always have a local craft brewery as well as wine options. There are tons of local food trucks that rotate in and out of the schedule, and you can always check who will be there at each event. These movie nights are typically held on Thursdays, so it makes it easier to get around and park for the event.
There is also a DJ before the movie, so you can get there early to get a good spot and hang out with your friends. Grab food and drinks and set up for when the movie starts a little after sunset. Honestly, all the food options are incredible, and the movies they show are both newer movies and the classics. You can bring a camping chair as long as it isn’t super tall, but you can also just bring a blanket and make sure you can see. This is such a good weekday activity in Nashville! Here is more information: Night Light 615
9. NSC (Nashville Soccer Club) Game
These games are so much fun. Honestly, Nashville has a great sports culture (not necessarily the best teams, but a great culture around sports). The new Geodis Park is home to the NSC, and it is so well-done.
It has great food options (like the local Daddy’s Dogs), and you can get all kinds of drinks as well. Everyone who goes to these games make it more enjoyable. The chants, the cheers, the boos, all of it makes the experience one you won’t forget.
Geodis Park is located near the Berry Hill area, and because it is a new stadium, the parking situation isn’t that great. I would suggest taking an Uber, but there is pretty limited parking in lots nearby. Also, after the game it will be pretty expensive to get an Uber to leave. Those are just minor details I wanted to share, but I would highly suggest at least attending one game just to experience it.
Click here for more information about the stadium and schedule to buy tickets: Nashville Soccer Club.
10. Preds Game
Like I said, the culture around sports can be really fun if you make it fun. This is the same with the Predators. I don’t know much about sports (I’m learning), but in the south, it will always be fun just to attend or to keep up with. The Preds probably have the most fun games out of all the sports in Nashville. In general, hockey is exciting because it is fast-paced and weirdly aggressive. Even the chants are aggressive!! But that’s what make going to the games so fun.
When preparing to go to a game, just know it will be colder the closer you are to the ice. I usually just get the cheaper tickets so I’ve never been that cold, but you should at least make sure to bring a jacket or coat just in case. They have tons of Preds gear in the shops so you can buy some fun merch to wear. There are concession stands all throughout Bridgestone Arena, but my one tip is to just keep walking until you think there aren’t any more.
Once you think you won’t find another concession stand on the second floor, you will walk up to one that is almost empty. That is my tip for getting quick service and avoiding the crowds. On some days, there will be half-off concessions or other deals going on. Make sure to keep up with the schedule or events, but in general, Preds games are fairly frequent, so you can easily find a game during the week or on the weekend. Click here for more information about tickets and the schedule: Nashville Predators.
11. Sounds Game
The next sport is: baseball. I know, I know, a lot of people are not baseball fans. But hear me out! Baseball games, especially Sounds’ games are for much more than just watching the sport. Although, yes, men in baseball pants are fun to watch.
All the home games are at First Horizon Park, and they did really well with this stadium. It has plenty of space to walk around, play games, eat, drink, or even sit at the bar Third and Home and watch from above. There is even an adults-only section that has a large bar, couches, and cornhole. Basically, it’s just a fun place to hang out with your friends or meet people with a baseball game in the background.
Even though it is a minor league team, it is still super fun to support the home team. There are games happening all the time, so it’s easy to find one you can go to. PLUS, they have tons of themed nights and discounted nights. For more information about the schedule and to get tickets, click here: Nashville Sounds.
12. Titans Game
Last of the sports, but certainly not least – a Titans game at Nissan Stadium! I should probably have been to more games as a local, but hey I go when people offer me free tickets. This is a great weekend, or sometimes weekday activity, and it definitely makes downtown become a little more lively. All around the city you can go to different sports bars or restaurants and watch the game even if you don’t have tickets.
There’s nothing better than tailgating before a football game, getting dressed up, and eating some good ‘ole stadium popcorn. The Titans are definitely rising in the ranks compared to previous years, so the fans are excited and loud. Get a group of friends or family and make a whole day out of it.
If you don’t know anything about football, don’t worry. Neither did I, but after a few games, I already learned so much. Also, I get the hype. Football is very entertaining, so just start rooting for a team, and the rest will fall in place from there. For more information on tickets and the schedule, click here: Tennessee Titans.
13. Sundays Best Market at Donut Distillery
I know, I have Donut Distillery on every Nashville guide I have, but there’s a reason! I just think it is a really fun and unique spot. They have mini donuts, pop up bar events, champagne or coffee flights with donut pairings, and delicious donut milkshakes. But, on Sundays they have an art market with bottomless mimosas all day.
The art market sells a variety of local art and vintage clothing. Tons of people show up every Sunday, and it is a fun way to support both local vendors and small businesses. You can check out either Instagram page @sundaysbestmarket or @donutdistillery to see more information. They share about the different vendors, times, and specials happening.
Definitely go spend a Sunday morning drinking mimosas, eating donuts, and getting some unique gifts or souvenirs. For more information about Donut Distillery and events happening, click here: Donut Distillery.
14. The 5 Spot – Live Music
It’s known as Music City for a reason. There are tons of local musicians and bands that are always doing gigs all around the city. And trust me, there is some true talent out there. Obviously there are all the well-known venues, but the raw talent and drive is always in the smaller venues. The 5 Spot is a great place for this. You can go see a show here almost any day of the week, just check their calendar. Click here to see more about their schedule and themed nights: The 5 Spot.
The shows here feel more intimate, they have a full bar, and they even have a covered back patio. It’s right in the Five Points area, so it’s easy to get to and make a night out of it. There is usually a cover fee, so make sure you have cash (but they do have an ATM if you need!). You can’t visit Music City without seeing a show, and it’s fun to get off of Broadway to really get to see some talent.
15. Hermitage Hotel Afternoon Tea
I have not had the pleasure of going to the Hermitage Hotel, but the pictures look incredible. The Hermitage Hotel is an iconic Nashville hotel that has been around for over 100 years. This is reflected in the architecture and history that they have maintained throughout the years. The Afternoon Tea is a long-standing tradition, and it reminds you of the British culture. They have tea, pastries, sandwiches, and mimosas, and you can book a reservation to attend. It is a pricier thing to do than some of the other things on this list, but it is definitely unique!
Even if you already live in Nashville, this would be something fun to do with the girls to try something different. Get all dressed up for a brunch. Not to mention the Hermitage Hotel is downtown and pretty accessible to plenty of other attractions or events. Click here to see pictures and more information: The Hermitage Hotel. You will have to scroll down a little to get to “Afternoon Tea”.
16. Painting with a Twist
Yes, this is something you can do in pretty much any city. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t special! Sometimes it can be fun to just get out of the house and do something different. Or, if you are celebrating a bachelorette and don’t want to do the big downtown thing, you can book a time with them. They have different paintings to make, and you can see what the classes are on their website.
All you do is bring drinks (wine is a great option), and you can even bring snacks. They will provide all the painting supplies, the canvas, and most importantly, the instruction. A teacher will be doing the painting with you at the front of the room, and all you have to do is follow the leader.
They truly make it as easy to follow as possible, and the teachers come around to help you. This could also be fun solo! They set you up at tables, and by the end of the class, it felt like everyone was friends. Click here to see more information and book a time: Painting with a Twist.
17. Hike at a Surrounding Park
While I already mentioned a good greenway, there are some good parks if you’re up for a hike. If you’re an avid hiker, these hikes really do not compare. If you’re up for a drive though, you can find some good places outside of Nashville.
Some places to go on a hike include Percy Warner Park, Radnor Lake State Park, Montgomery Bell State Park, or Long Hunter State Park. My person favorite hike is a very easy and pretty short 5-mile hike at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. It is the Hidden Springs Trail and it is only about a 30-45 minute drive from Nashville. This hike only takes about 2-2.5 hours depending on your ability, but it is an easy way to get a nice hike in outside of the city.
For longer hikes or for hikes with more picturesque views, you can drive an hour-2 hours outside of Nashville towards the Cookeville area. There you will have many hikes at Rock Island State Park, Fall Creek Falls State Park, or Burgess Falls State Park.
18. Trivia
Every day of the week you can find numerous trivia nights around town. These are all at bars and restaurants, but I included it at this list, because it’s an activity to do! It makes a normal night out or a gathering with friends even more fun. Grab your smartest friends and go try to win gift cards or prizes for placing in the top three.
The best place to look for all the trivia nights happening around town is on Nashville Guru. Click here to see all the locations and times: Nashville Guru Trivia Nights in Nashville. A couple ones I’ve done include at Scoreboard, Rice Vice, and Three Crow. The least crowded was definitely Rice Vice, yet somehow with only 4 teams, we still didn’t win. I still love trivia though!
19. Axe Throwing at BATL
Axe throwing definitely had its moment. But if you have yet to go, definitely check out BATL in East Nashville. Yes, they have a bar, but that’s just a bonus. You can reserve 1-2 hour time slots for a group of up to 20. Just go on their website, choose the package you want, and it’s as easy as that. Depending on the day, you can reserve in advance or try for a walk-in time.
It’s fairly affordable, and 1 hour is plenty if it’s just a small group. Your arms will be sore! Someone will instruct you on the rules you NEED to follow as well as tips and tricks for getting a bullseye. It actually came pretty easily after a few throws, but sometimes it just bounces right off. There are a few games you can play using the rules, or you can just make your own. They will give you a warning before your time is out, and you’re on your way.
Click here if you want to book a reservation: BATL Axe Throwing Nashville. Prices start as low as $30 a person, and there are other locations around and outside the US as well!
20. SoundWaves at Gaylord Opryland Resort (or Wave Country or Nashville Shores)
I have yet to go to any of these parks…so I’m not sure I will have the best information. But if you’re a water park kind of person, these could be for you! The famous Gaylord Opryland Resort has a fairly new indoor/outdoor water park called SoundWaves. Getting tickets for SoundWaves can be a little confusing. A lot of different information is out there about being a guest at the resort getting you admission, being able to only go on weekends, day passes, etc.
Well, when you first enter their website, they make it clear that you must purchase the SoundWaves Experience Package when booking a room. Additionally, they make it clear that each package you can purchase does include a room accommodation. So, you can book a room at Gaylord Opryland OR you can book the SoundWaves Experience Package that will include admission to the water park.
This is a unique experience to add to your trip to Nashville. But they also have some deals for Tennessee residents! Honestly, I’m not a water park person, but I can enjoy being by the water, having some drinks, and spending time in the sun. You can also do that at Wave Country, which is a wave pool just one exit down from here. Or, you can check out Nashville Shores for a more classic water park that is located right on the beach of Percy Priest Lake.
Click here to learn more about SoundWaves: SoundWaves Information and Reservations. For more information about Wave Country, click here: Wave Country. And for more information about Nashville Shores, click here: Nashville Shores.
21. Paddywax Candle Bar
Looking for a good daytime activity with the girls? This is such a fun stop. Nashville has the original Paddywax Candle Bar, and the one on Sidco Drive actually also serves as their headquarters, so you will see all of their desks and offices in the back.
At Paddywax, you can do a candle making class. The cost is $50 a person, and you spend an hour getting to pick out your scent, your vessel (the jar), and then learning how to make the perfect candle. Paddywax is also very focused on sustainability. You can come in and get your candle refilled, or you can use the jar for other uses depending on the one you pick!
If you are out of town, make sure you know that it takes 3 hours to be able to pick up your candle after your class, but you can get it shipped to you also! They also have a little bar area where you can get drinks, as well as a little photo area to take cute pictures.
There is also a store up front where you can get all kinds of cute little gifts for yourself or others. They have candles, notebooks, bar supplies, and lots of other fun items to browse. Definitely check this place out either in Nashville or around the US and even now in England! Click here for more information: Paddywax Candle Bar.
22. Frist Art Museum
A staple in downtown Nashville is the Frist Art Museum. This is the main art museum in Nashville, and they have a rotating gallery to come and see. If you already have a visit planned, you can enter the date and see what will be there at that time. The Frist is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Ticket prices can vary, but adults are $15 per person. There are various discounts for age groups, military, or large groups – but anyone 18 and under is free!
This was a big field trip place growing up here. I’m not too big into art knowledge, but there have been some bigger exhibitions here. The exhibitions usually have a good mix of local art and from artists all around the world. This is a fun place to spend a relaxing afternoon or just to pop in while exploring downtown. For more information on current or future exhibits, ticket information, and parking information, click here: Frist Art Museum Nashville.
Unfortunately, one of the best places to eat in Nashville is permanently closed. It was located really close to the Frist and was beloved by locals. Soon, it will be replaced by The Finch, which you can check out here if you want to be among the first to eat here: The Finch Grill and Raw Bar.
23. Tee Line (Curling!)
As their website states, Tee Line has curling, bowling, food, and drinks! This is the first curling venue in Nashville. They truly have everything you need for a fun time on a date night or with a group of friends! Tee Line also has multiple TVs and they guarantee you they are a great spot for watching college and professional sports.
I have again never been here, but even writing this reminded me how much I want to go. The food looks mouth-watering, and they have decent prices on your favorite cocktails. Just take a look at some of the pictures here: Tee Line Nashville. This is located in the Nations area of Nashville, where there is plenty to do nearby as well.
24. Parthenon
Is it a trip to Nashville without visiting the iconic Parthenon that is on every other Nashville travel guide?! Honestly, yes. This is not a must-see to make your trip worthwhile, but it is definitely an iconic tourist spot (heck, Taylor Swift sings about it). If you know any of my travel guides, I always say that I encourage everyone to see the tourist spots if that’s what you want to do. It doesn’t hurt to at least stop by!
The Parthenon is located in the beautiful Centennial Park, complete with a large pond, a 1-mile walk around the park, playground, and even different events depending on the day! It is located off West End and is a nice little break from the craziness of downtown Broadway. You can pack a picnic, bring a blanket, or enjoy a stroll around the pond.
If you’re looking to check out the Parthenon, there are times to do tours. It’s not something I have ever been interested in, because the Parthenon itself is already so massive and pretty cool by itself. Adult tickets are only $10! Just make sure to check out the hours and days available before you visit, as they can be limited: Visit Nashville Parthenon.
24. Tubing/Canoeing/Kayaking
Around Nashville, there are some fun places to hang out on the water. You can bring your own equipment or you can rent! Some local favorites are the Harpeth River, River Adventures or Red River Canoe in Adams, TN, or Long Hunter State Park. The other obvious option is to kayak on the Cumberland or nearby lakes, but to be honest, I would never get close to the Cumberland River.
Harpeth River State Park is very popular, and there are multiple companies that do rentals for either floating or paddling down the river. I personally love River Adventures in Adams, TN, because who doesn’t love a good visit to see the Bell Witch?! If you’re a person who likes scary places, spend an afternoon floating down the Red River and then at night driving around the famous haunted town. (My friends and I have had some weird experiences when driving there at night back in high school – now I just avoid it at night).
If I’m wanting to kayak, my favorite option is to visit Long Hunter State Park. There they have Couchville Lake, where you can do boat rentals. This includes paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, and fishing boats. It’s a decent-sized lake, but it’s small enough that you won’t get lost. These rentals are open seasonally on weekends, and rentals are hourly. It is as little as $10 an hour for a canoe or as high as a tandem kayak for $20 an hour. This is such a great weekend activity to get out of the house and on the water on a warm day.
25. Festivals
Every city has its festivals. But most city’s festivals are unique, and Nashville doesn’t disappoint. Some highlights of the year include the Tomato Art Fest (a local favorite), Live on the Green (free music festival downtown), and the Music City Hot Chicken Festival (you can’t come to Nashville without trying hot chicken).
Seriously, there are tons of events happening all the time. Other obvious choices are CMA Fest for you country music lovers, or Bonnaroo for the more outdoorsy music lovers. The Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival, the African Street Festival, the Nashville Pride Festival, and the Nashville Whiskey Festival are just a few of the main events of the year.
If you’re looking to come in town and go to a festival, summer and fall are your best bets for catching the good ones. For more information on the various events and festivals around the year, click here: Nashville Annual Events and Festivals.
26. Drag Brunch (Suzy Wong’s, drag high tea)
Yes, drag brunch is not a Nashville-only type of activity. But, I can still tell you where some good drag brunches are. My favorite is Suzy Wong’s Drag’n Brunch. Their menu is actually so delicious, and all the food is included with your $30 reservation. You get all the appetizers to your table, including egg rolls, biscuits and gravy, and fruit. Then each person can choose the entree that you want.
I got the classic Hong Kong Millionaire. It’s got fries, BBQ pulled pork, bacon, queso, scrambled eggs, etc. All the drinks you want are not included in your reservation, but they have a full bar! Suzy Wong’s has a rotation of multiple drag queens and there are 3 for each show. For more information or to make reservations, click here: Suzy Wong’s Drag’n Brunch. They have shows 2 times a day every weekend!
Another good one is at Electric Jane. My roommate actually just went here and said it was great and has good food and drinks. If you are going with a larger group, you can get brunch boards. You can get a waffle board with all the toppings or an option of a classic board with bacon, eggs, biscuits, etc. They have drag brunch every Saturday and do popular artists as the themes, including Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Harry Styles, and so many more. Make sure to make a reservation online beforehand, and take a big group for those brunch boards! Click here for information: Electric Jane Drag Brunch Themes.’
If you don’t want to go to these, you can go to Lipstick Lounge or Skull’s Rainbow Room. Lipstick Lounge is one of the best LGBTQ+ bars located in East Nashville, and they may not have drag brunch every weekend but they do shows often. They do have brunch every weekend though, so if you’re looking for a friendly and welcome place to have brunch, definitely go here. Lastly, Skull’s Rainbow Room does a monthly drag brunch. For more information, click here: Skull’s Rainbow Room.
27. Cruisin’ Tikis
I added this one as a bonus for summer months! Also not a Nashville-only kind of activity, but it’s definitely something out of the ordinary to do here. Make a reservation on this tiki hut on water and head out to Old Hickory Lake! Be warned: reservations are fairly expensive and they do NOT include snacks or your own drinks. But, you get a 90-minute or a few hours-long tiki cruise, so you be the judge.
They have a few different options for the type of tour you can do. There is a morning mimosa option, a tiki fun cruise, a party cove option where you stop off for a few hours there, and a sunset option. Tickets start at $70 a person and you can bring up to 6 people on each tiki. This would be fun for a bachelorette party (in any city they are in!) or just to make a weekend extra special with a group of friends. There are no bathrooms so make sure to go beforehand and don’t drink too much!!
For more information or to book a reservation, click here: Cruisin’ Tikis Nashville.
Bonus Things to Do:
- Adventure Science Center (go on the adult nights!)
- Nashville Zoo (again, go on the adult nights!)
- Country Music Hall of Fame (self-explanatory)
